#0033: New year gift for you!!
Education Next-Thirty third Edition
Reading time: 9.10 min
Hey !!👋
It's been 2 years since I quit working full-time and switched to a work style that allows me to have more freedom and flexibility.
I know that this approach isn't for everyone, but it has given me a new perspective on the importance of balance in life. It's helped me understand that it's not about sacrificing one part of life for another—it's about finding the right combination that works for you.
The freedom to pursue my own passions and live a more balanced lifestyle has been nothing short of transformational.
My son can learn anywhere and that's the freedom we craved for. He has so much time for himself now. He can listen to music as much as he wants, He can attend virtual classes, and even make new friends from different parts of the world.
Yes! I believe everyone should have the freedom to choose how they want to spend their time, where they want to work, and who they want to be around. Whether that means living in a city or far away from it, or working remotely or in an office, everyone should have the freedom to make their own decisions without external pressure.
In a recent conversation with Andreas Wil Gerdes who is a digital nomad, I came to know that more and more people are choosing life-centric work over the hustle culture. I truly believe this is a great way to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
It's inspiring to see so many people taking control of their lives and carving out their own paths, regardless of what society dictates. We are all capable of creating our own unique version of success if we take the time to listen and follow our hearts.
We can expect to hear more people choosing to work remotely, freelancing, and living a life-centric lifestyle. People are choosing life over work, they are choosing family time over career time, and they are choosing to live a life that is full of joy and purpose.
I am full of positivity as I start this year hoping to connect with alternate lifestyles and stories that will help me learn more about this life. I am also looking forward to continuing my journey as an alternate learner while inspiring others to take the leap and live a life they love.
My son is leading by example, showing us just how rewarding it can be to break away from traditional paths and find our own way. I'm so proud of him and all the other brave souls out there who are pushing boundaries and following their dreams.
To me, it's no longer just about work-life balance; it's about life-centric work. It's about creating a lifestyle that is full of joy, freedom, and purpose. So let's make it happen! Let's embrace the future and be open to new possibilities.
Life is too short to do anything else. Let's make sure that we live the life we have always dreamed of!
Happy New Year!!

Adi is a fan of car simulation games. He has been playing with them since he was a little kid and loves exploring their various features.
He particularly enjoys racing games that let him drive simulated cars around realistic virtual tracks. Adi also likes to customize his cars, giving them unique designs and features that make them stand out from the competition.
Adi likes to challenge himself in these games, setting difficult goals for himself and striving to achieve them. Adi also enjoys exploring various gaming mods that alter the look and feel of his game, allowing him to experience different types of racing environments.
Some of the games he has tried this year on the phone
Driving school Sim 2017- He didn't find it very challenging, but enjoyed the realistic driving experience.
Parking Master multiplayer 2- Adi found this game to be full of surprises. It has an exciting career mode, where you must master the art of parking cars in difficult locations. He also liked the multiplayer feature which allows him to race against friends and family.
Driving School 2020-He loved the graphics, the maps, and the tracks. He also enjoyed the realistic physics engine, which makes it feel like you're actually driving a real car.
Race Master 3D- He found the game to be fun, but the quality was not that great. He also liked the wide variety of tracks in this game. This is not a like a realistic game experience as he says.
Racing Limits- This game gave Adi a real sense of speed, and he enjoyed trying to beat his own best times on the tracks. He also liked that this game has a lot of customization options for cars, allowing him to make them look unique.
Traffic Rider- This game was a nice change of pace for Adi, as it focused more on survival than competitive racing. He found it to be challenging, yet rewarding at the same time.
Games he tried on the PC
Scania truck simulator- Adi enjoyed the realism and detail of this game. He found it challenging to navigate the roads, but it was great fun as well. He says when wears his headphones he feels like actually driving on the road.
He had downloaded the Scania truck simulator to try it with the cardboard steering wheel he made. Though the steering wheel hasn't been working properly he still played using the keyboard.
Adi continues to explore and enjoy car simulation games in his free time, pushing himself to be better at them and discovering new ways to have fun. He loves how these games let him escape from reality and experience a world within a computer screen.
Conscious Bonding
Bonding with kids over New Year goals
The New Year is an ideal time to create goals for the future. It can be especially meaningful for parents and children, who can bond together over the shared experience of setting achievable and realistic goals for themselves.
There are many ways that parents can go about helping kids set their New Year’s resolutions. Parents should discuss with their children to understand what their hopes and dreams are for the upcoming year.
Goals can be a powerful tool for helping children learn how to be successful and productive in life. Here are a few tips for getting started:
When it comes to helping kids develop into healthy and successful adults, goal setting is a critical tool. By setting goals, kids learn how to plan their time and manage their efforts in order to achieve the desired outcome.
Additionally, they gain valuable skills such as problem-solving, decision-making, self-reflection, and discipline that will serve them throughout their lives.
When it comes to goal setting for kids, there are a few key factors to consider.
Setting a big Goal
Purpose behind the goal
Plan and procedure to achieve the goal
Time allocation for the goal
