Hey !!đź‘‹

Have you been thinking of quitting the traditional schooling system and embracing the unschooling way of life?

Are you ready to make some radical changes in your child’s learning environment?

Unschooling has many benefits, from giving children more control over their education to helping them develop better problem-solving skills.

With the right mix of guidance and freedom, you can bring about a positive shift in the way your child learns.

One of the most important aspects of unschooling is allowing children to make their own choices when it comes to learning.

This means providing them with resources and guidance, but also giving them the freedom to pursue interests that aren’t traditionally taught in school. This can range from art and music to engineering and coding.

To support this kind of learning environment,

  • Encourage your children to take ownership of their education by setting aside some time each day for independent reading.

  • Take the time to discuss what they have read and let them know that their opinions matter.

  • Create a home library with engaging books that will spark your child’s curiosity.

Getting into an unschooling mindset can be a big shift from traditional schooling or even homeschooling.

Adi spent this week working on a Gems vending machine

For some reason the projects he plans always look too complicated

But then when he starts making,

I can hardly believe how he did it.

Here is the Gems dispenser he made.

Conscious Bonding

Bonding over kids interest in violent games

Adi loves to play the game murder mystery in Roblox. Adi's friends find this game very interesting .

I see Adi screaming, shouting, and laughing as he plays. There is a lot of collaboration and teamwork involved as they try to keep themselves safe from being killed.

It's usual for them to use words like kill, die and shoot which might sound scary. They together come up with strategies to outwit their opponents.

This also teaches them how to collaborate in a team and think on their feet when they need to save their lives in the game.

So if it makes kids so happy while playing, can it be wrong for kids to love such a game?

What parents can do to understand their kid's gaming needs better?

  • Parents should keep an open mind and focus more on the fun that their child is having. We need to do our research and understand the game.

  • It is also important to remember that moderation is key and keep an eye out for any signs of addiction or excessive play time, which may be signs that the child needs help.

  • Parents should talk to their children about the games they play and learn how they play them, so they can understand what kind of environment their kids are playing in.

The games are a great way for parents to bond with their children and understand what interests them.

It also helps parents create more meaningful conversations with their children which encourages them to open up and share their thoughts.
