Hello All,

I have always followed a path I was unsure of, like getting to the school my mom wanted me to attend.

Then, I went to the college my dad wanted me to attend.

I kept pursuing one thing after the other; I never got a chance to stop and understand if I liked something or if I didn't like something.

Until Adi came into my life in 2013, I suddenly became curious, wanting to understand more about how I was growing, what he was learning, and how he could learn better.

I wanted to spend more time with him. To explore more, I started working in the education space in different capacities.

I realised children were limited to this school setup and the four walls and were restricted in many ways.

During COVID, we quit school and started understanding our needs. We were meeting more people and understanding their stories.

The more people I spoke to, the more I understood how little I knew.

Being very curious, I explored and have not stopped since then.

Adi and I carved our learning path on this beautiful journey of living and learning.

We are so glad we have you with us; thank you for supporting us.

Homeschooling Sparks Entrepreneurial Spirit

I sincerely appreciate the homeschooling approach that equips kids with entrepreneurial skills from an early age through learning from their parents.

In traditional school settings, there can be a disconnect between the problems presented and their real-world applicability, leading to students' potential loss of interest.

On the other hand, homeschooling provides an environment where kids learn real-life skills that have practical applications.

By observing and participating in their parents' projects, homeschooling kids gain a solid foundation in entrepreneurship and develop a genuine understanding of problem-solving in authentic contexts.

This hands-on approach fosters a love for learning and instils a sense of purpose and relevance in the educational journey.

The contrast between the homeschooling model and traditional schooling highlights the importance of integrating real-world problem-solving into education, creating a more engaging and impactful learning experience for students.

It shouldn't be surprising to learn that many unschoolers become entrepreneurs. Able to grow up free from a coercive classroom or traditional school-at-home environment, unschoolers nurture interests and passions that may sprout into full-fledged careers.

Why your kid love video games?

As a parent, I wonder why kids are drawn to video games.

Like many of you, I find myself diving into the intricacies of this phenomenon, attempting to make sense of the fascination.

Here are some insights that have emerged from my journey down the rabbit hole of understanding:

  1. Autonomy: The ability to control and influence the outcome of a virtual world provides a sense of agency and accomplishment, which can be highly rewarding.

  2. Social Connection: Kids can connect with local or global friends, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

  3. Problem-Solving Challenges: The thrill of overcoming obstacles and progressing through levels can be intellectually stimulating and satisfying.

  4. Narrative Immersion: Compelling storylines and immersive narratives in video games provide an escape into fantastical worlds.

  5. Sense of Achievement: Many video games are structured to reward players for their achievements, whether it's completing a quest, levelling up, or mastering a skill.

  6. Adaptable Learning: Some educational games seamlessly integrate learning into the gaming experience.

While moderation and balance are key, acknowledging the positive aspects of gaming can foster constructive conversations and insights into this prevalent form of entertainment.

Video Games may also increase the volume of prefrontal regions the brain that are involved in executive functioning, including the ability to solve problems and make reasoned decisions.

A fun drawing tool for your kid

Adi, my 10-year-old son, introduced me to an incredible tool called AutoDraw by Google. It allows you to instantly bring your ideas to life with just a rough sketch.

I was truly impressed by how fast and user-friendly it is, making drawing a breeze.
