Hello All,

As Adi and I continue our travel,

We realise that there is so much to experience.

Going from one place to another,

blending into different cultures and traditions.

Learning and listening to different stories.

This makes me think about how we humans always limit ourselves,

we try to adjust and adapt to whatever situation comes our way.

I have realised breaking patterns helps us see the other side of ourselves.

That’s how this learning yatra is helping us.

Making Mud Houses

Adi and I were at the Sustainability talks aka Manthan held in Solan*(Himachal Pradesh),

It was amazing to learn from farmers and experts,

There are so many different perspectives when people come from other cultures,

Adi also got experience with hands-on mud brick making,

He enjoyed it.

The place was beautiful with mud houses, traditional food and warm people.

One day in Shimla

We had to halt in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh.

Before we could continue our journey to Tirthan Valley.

It was night by the time we reached Shimla,

We had trouble getting cabs,

Finally, we found a hotel and reached safely.

The next morning we explored the Mall road in Shimla.

We started the next part of the journey in the afternoon.

It wasn’t easy carrying our luggage in Shimla,

Carrying luggage and finding buses.

But we managed.

Learnings from Travels/Yatra

It’s important to plan for reaching stations and airports.

Always be aware of the traffic.

If possible talk to local people to understand about transport.

Make sure to see that you reach your destination not very late so that its easy to find accommodation and cabs.
