Hello All,
This week we reached Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Adi and I stayed in Swaraj Campus.
The Campus is beautiful with a view of mountains and greenery all around.
We lived on the campus with an unschooling family.
It was beautiful to see Adi exploring and learning.
He made a new friend on the campus.
He enjoyed playing, exploring and being himself.
This made me think about how we always try to structure everything our kids do.
We try to make schedules, we make plans for them and they end up hating it.
But when they are free to be themselves they are creative and so happy.
This also makes me think about the value of being unstructured and how important it is to take kids off the wheel.
We all can make conscious efforts to take kids outside and help them explore freedom and free spaces where they can have their schedules.
We have forgotten that children are designed by nature to learn through self-directed play and exploration, and so, more and more, we deprive them of the freedom to learn, subjecting them instead to the tedious and painfully slow learning methods devised by those who run the schools.

Walking an unconventional path
Adi and I have set out on a unique journey to explore alternative learning and living spaces, connecting with people far and wide who share our vision.
This decision, though daunting, has opened doors to experiences and insights that are transformative.
We live in a society that often pressures us to conform, to seek belonging through following prescribed paths and listening to well-meaning advice.
The idea of deviating from this norm can be terrifying, but I’ve come to realize that courage is not the absence of fear; it is acting despite it.
People often ask me, "Aren't you scared?" My answer is simple: fear no longer paralyzes me. If our journey can inspire even one person, it’s worth it.
