Hello All,
Hope you are doing great.
You know the more I travel I realise,
how society is always trying to confine us.
Slowly the learner just gets used to what is taught and forgets to question,
They adjust and kill their curiosity.
Very easily we start tagging them as not interested.
That is why it’s important to help kids discover their interests,
this can take time but it’s worth it.
Give your children different opportunities,
they will find things that they truly like.
Hope you experience the freedom of learning and living on your terms.
Rabindranath Tagore’s view on Education
Rabindranath Tagore, one of India's most revered cultural figures, was not only a poet, playwright, and philosopher but also an innovative thinker in the field of education.
His views on education were deeply influenced by his holistic perspective on human development, and he sought to revolutionize the traditional system of learning in India.
“Send me an exile, to the school, to the class with its bare white walls, its stare of dead eyes, frightened me every day. It was absolute a fragment torn away from life and this gave me intense misery because I was uprooted from my world and sent to surrounding which were dead and unsympathetic, disharmonious and monotonously dull” - (Tagore, 1996)
Dont stop living as a parent
I feel as a parent sometimes we are too serious in our roles,
we need to take it easy.
Whether it’s marks, life, or relationships, we should try to take it more easily.
Or the pressure leaves you frustrated,
You are so stressed that you stop enjoying the little things.
Our travels help me chill out and help me learn about myself,
I can think that interests me and things that I love.
Parents should do things that they enjoy or they start to become someone they do not relate to anymore.
