Hello All,

Hope you are doing great.

I read this quote and related to this so much, that I wanted to share this with you.

Homeschooling or alternate learning challenges everything society has told you about education.

It’s a bold step away from traditional norms towards a more personalized, flexible, and effective approach to learning.

This method fosters a deeper connection with education, allowing you to explore things that truly interest the learner.

It’s not about following a standard pattern but rather learning one skill after another, or even taking a pause when needed.

This means we need to unlearn many of the things society has ingrained in us.

Choosing alternate learning is more about working on yourself, as you are the one most affected by this change.

Once you understand that learning is not confined to a system or institution, you become empowered and less affected by conventional limitations.

It’s about realizing that education is a lifelong journey, tailored by and for the individual, rather than a rigid path dictated by external standards.

Our Journey Beyond the Traditional School System

hen Adi and I left the traditional school system during the COVID-19 pandemic, we stepped into the unknown.

We didn't have a clear blueprint for how we would design our learning journey, but we were determined to explore and find what genuinely interested him.

This exploration led us to a more conscious approach to both learning and living.

Leaving the traditional school system requires a significant shift in mindset. It's not just about choosing to quit school; it's about taking ownership of your learning and life choices.

When you choose an alternate path, you must decide what interests you and how to pursue those interests meaningfully.

As we delved deeper into Adi's interests, we realized that much of his time would be spent on screens.

His passions included video making, AI, coding, and other tech-related activities.

While we embraced these interests, we also recognized the need to balance screen time with other experiences.

This understanding pushed us to start travelling and meeting people who were on similar journeys.
