Hello All,

Today I am writing my 128th Newsletter,

I became a mom 11 years ago,

That the time I decided to do full-time parenting,

Which required me to drop my work.

I had plans to do PhD in Optometry and Vision Science,

But I knew that was not possible with a baby,

I wanted to take care of my son and learn everything about parenting,

Which meant I would be without work,

After my son joined the school,

It was still tough for me to join back work managing his schedules.

So I had to Join School as a teacher.

After working for a few years,

I became passionate about exploring alternate ways of learning,

and here I am guiding my son to build on his interests,

and writing on the future of learning.

I also calculated how much I would have made till now had my life would have gone as planned,

The amount from 2013 to 2024 came to ₹1.13 crore.

But when I think of all the things I gained by not following a traditional path,

I really can’t count.

All the moments I got to share with my son,

All the experiences we spent together.

the fact that he has all these memories with me,

gives me a lot of satisfaction.

And though managing your profession, and duties is also important,

the joy of spending more time with kids can never be replaced.

Adi travelling and exploring.

Is the future of learning AI?

In this episode, Adi and I discuss the future of learning,

How AI is changing how we learn,

How content creators are leveraging social media,

How Self-learning is empowering young people.

Why we don’t talk enough about how learning should evolve?

We often focus on the "future of work," discussing freelancing, remote working, and skill-based hiring but

We don’t talk enough about how learning should change.

While many persist with traditional education methods, a paradigm shift is essential to meet the evolving needs of career shifters, lifelong learners, and educators.

The young generation is not interested in 9 to 5 but sadly there is very little conversation around how young people should learn or build skills.

Nothing much has changed in the schools, the curriculums,

How can we get young people ready for the future of work?

This is something more people need to discuss and talk.
